Hyperhidrosis
Excessive underarm sweating (or hyperhidrosis) can be treated using the same injections that are used to relax facial muscles and target wrinkles. After the application of anaesthetic cream, a series of small injections are performed to the underarm area. The active protein enters the sweat glands and blocks the release of chemicals that signal perspiration.
What to expect post-treatment
After treatment, it normally takes 1-3 weeks to see the full effect, which lasts for 6-9 months in most people.
