What is PRX Plus made of?

PRX-Plus is the ONLY globally patented professional aesthetic treatment formulated with 33% Ammonium Trichloroacetate and Homocysteic Acid. 

 

Homocysteic Acid: A powerful brightening effect by enabling the melanocytes to transfer the unwanted melanin into the keratinocytes where it is then shed through the epidermis.

33% Ammonium Trichloroacetate (ATCA): Acts as an exfoliant to remove dead skin cells and it functions as a bio-stimulator to encourage deep skin regeneration by encouraging fibroblast and collagen production.

Citric and Phytic Acid: Both acids help to remove dead skin cells, providing the happy balance of  a gentle exfoliant.

How long does a PRX Plus treatment take?​

A single PRX Plus treatment can be performed in 20 - 30 minutes, depending on the size of the treatment area (i.e. face, neck, décolletage, hands or body).

How many PRX PLUS treatments are needed?

A treatment plan based on your specific goals will be determined. Usually, a series of 3 - 5 treatments are recommended, spaced 2 weeks apart.

Results can be seen from the first session, cumulative improvements with multiple sessions.

How much downtime is required?

No down time is required for PRX Plus. No needles are involved, and there is no discomfort. This is a treatment that can be done all year round as there is no risk to sun sensitivity post treatment.

Who is PRX Plus suitable for?

PRX Plus is suitable for most skin types. Those with an inflamed skin condition such as rosacea, dermatitis, eczema or acne are not suitable for this treatment.

It is not recommended to do whilst pregnant or breastfeeding.
